SPA™ Acylinder at Webshop

asphericon SPA™ Acylinders are now available online.

asphericon, specialist in the production of high-precision aspherical components, is expanding its webshop offers with an additional line of standard precision aspheres (asphericon SPA™). Starting immediately, the product line SPA™ Acylinder is available to our customers through the online store.

Standard precision aspheres SPA™ stand out because of their distinguished optical qualities as well as their price and delivery optimization. This addition closes a gap in supplies and therefore builds on the products that are already successful on the market and in the Webshop (aspheres, axicons).

Aspherical cylinders are manufactured by grinding and polishing on modern CNC machines and by use of specially developed manufacturing processes. The accuracy that is attainable through these processes meet asphericon’s standard quality. The RMS form error of the aspherical cylinder area is smaller than 0.5 µm. The technologically highest level of production can be guaranteed because of the most modern tactile and interferometric measurements instruments that are integrated in the production process.
